So Saturday( yes, this past Saturday,) after the the funeral I spent some quality time with the GF's family and the twins. The twins went to bed in a trundle bed, and my GF and I went to bed together. I woke up in the middle of the night. I had an extreme craving for scrambled eggs that couldn't wait for morning. I made my eggs and devoured them like they were going out of style. I thought, "Hey! Maybe one more drink would help me sleep!" That's when I espyed the drink I had left over from the night (applejuice and vodka) that I had let sit fallow on the table next to the television. Bad idea. It turns out that Twin #2 had decided to experiment with pickle juice and salt while I was asleep. One big gulp of extra-salty pickle-juice later and I was hurking in the bathroom. It wasn't so much the vinegar in the pickle-juice, it was the mustard seeds. They all got caught in my throat.
