Is there anything in there, or elsewhere, that tells you clearly that he hasn't learned from this, and wants to help ensure that these kinds of things won't happen in the future?

He is young. He is still close to the mistakes he has made in the past. I don't see anything that says he has not been capable of learning from his mistakes.

Or are you trying to tell me that he is still seeking support from Rezko, and is trying his best to help Rezko in return?
