having a plastic tank strapped on your back with a tube going in your mouth may stress you a bit, or at the very least annoy you (as SnArL suggested).... so how do they know whether or not these cows burp more than they normally would due to the strangeness of the whole thing. Even humans get digestive upsets when stressed.
