It's the violent reaction I can't stomach. It's one thing if they had merely said something along the lines of "for these reasons, we consider what you're doing to be wrong". Any violent reaction over what is just a cracker (no matter the symbolic meaning) is just as wrong as calling for the beheading of a cartoonist that draws a picture of a certain religious figure that shall remain nameless.
