Did they change their opinion because they learned of new information or were exposed to a persuasive argument? Find and dandy. Even finer and dandier when you explain WHY you're changing your position. Oh, you changed because it's politically expedient? That's when I have a problem. Now, I will grant that political expediency is in the eye of the beholder, or at least can be.
