It would be marginalized if only the minorities would let it be, but it is an issue.

It also works the reverse way. I've been the "token white guy" in an all-black high school (long ago) and as an employee (just a few years ago). Every group has it's bigots, and those who are bigoted towards them. Some group members just don't seem to believe THEIR group can be bigoted.
