  I think its because when $original_viewpoint was by confused.brit 2008-07-10 11:00:08
stated, $politician was usually trying to get elected. Therefore, that is the viewpoint they were elected to represent.

Now that has changed to $opposing_viewpoint, supporters of $original_viewpoint feel he no longer represents him, and he $swore_on_religious_icon he was one of them right up until they put that slip in the box damnit!
