difference. You need low calorie high protein to lose fat and build muscle. I have used (at different times) Nu-Blend, Core-Blend, and Power Protein Plus. Those range from 120-150 calories (kcal) for 24 grams of protein.

Stay away from the weight gain or bulking type shakes.
