I read them two or three times over and there was no way that I could read them in the same light as either the New Testament or the lessons by people who have had an impact on me, parents, priests and fellow church-goers in the mix, when I was tutored so that I would better understand what being baptised, taking communion and being confirmed meant.
I believe that someone not only said that the most important law is to love thy neighbour as you love thyself, but that prostitutes and tax men would enter heaven before preachers (in that today, I read fundamentalists).
