Being a little more serious: it's great to do nice things but the key thing is the reason. In essence, we are so overwhelmed by the undeserved love God shows us that we spill it out and it shows in what we do. So really it comes from the same source: love. St. James hits it on the head: he says that if you claim to be a Christian but if it has no effect on what you do then you're deluding yourself. To put it another way: A Christian should see the world as God does - flawed, but to be loved and changed for the better.
