Yes, the bible does seem to indicate that God may be less than pleased by homosexual sex[1], but it also says very loudly and clearly that the overriding attitude of Christians to the world should be one of love. Yes, we may point out (in love) where the world seems to be at odds with God's view, but from then on we let God decide what happens. We are simply witnesses; It is God who judges, not us, and we should not presume to anticipate his verdict.

heterosexual sex without love is no more pleasing to God, and a marriage doesn't make loveless sex OK.
Also, what constitutes "marriage" has varied widely, and might simply be defined as "a publicly committed union". At that point, I find it hard to differentiate between my marriage and my cousin's Civil Partnership. My partner is female, his is male. We've been with our partners for pretty much the same length of time and have the same intention to remain as such. |
