From my experience with the 5.56mm round I would guess that is very controllable. As for ROF, on H&Ks it depends on the trigger group. It could be any where up to 900 RPM.

Oh, and don't get me wrong, I think their neat too. I am just leery of buying into the marketing campaign until after a weapon has a chance to prove itself. Too many fad rounds and weapons have come and gone while a small group of proven designs stay in service.
