I gave up on reason in politics a long time ago. Those participating on the flamewars on US politics at the mo, both sides of the fence, seem to beleive the politics are a kinda God/Satan fight with each other's candidate being Satan in disguise.
No Joke. LabRat's images, for example, funny as they may be, seek to demonise the opposition. When it reaches that stage, there is no reasoning.
And that is why I stay out of both topics unless i'm really bored.
