"This has been a tough fight, but the Democratic party is a family and now it's time to restore the ties that bind us together," she told cheering supporters at the National Building Museum in Washington.
"Today as I suspend my campaign, I congratulate him on the victory he has won, the extraordinary race he has run and and I throw my full support behind him — and I ask all of you to join me in working as hard for Barack Obama as you have for me," she said.
There it is, right from her mouth. At no point did she ask her delegates to vote for Obama. This is far from over; she is going to make a power play at the DNC.
I don't think that she is willing to wait eight years to try again, so I expect her to do everything she can to take down Obama before the DNC so she can step in as the savoir of the party. If she can’t get the nomination, she will do what she can to help McCain. This paper thin support for Obama is what she has to do in public if she is going to run again in four years.
