and that was the one time I ever paid to have a non-hardware computer problem fixed.

Also that was before I had discovered fdisk and knew really anything about Linux. Of course if that happened again I'd be able to fix it myself now. My mom is permanently wary of Linux now though...it took a little convincing for her to let me put Ubuntu on said same computer for my little brother.
