...nor have I seen any Democratic candidate of this century, who advocated vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole. Nor have I seen any of them call for a state of society, halfway to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
If you're accusing somebody of being something, you should at least get the terms correct. Democrat != Socialist, no matter how many times shrill people get on Fox News and insist so at the top of their lungs.
