than teaching abstinence alone. Teaching *both*, with a rational and objective presentation of the risks and options and their consequences, is the best approach of all...but neither method alone has as much of a chance of producing the desired result as putting the whole package in the hands of the people who need to know...and that's every person with gonads that are, or are about to become, functional.
