For the record, I believe life begins at conception, so let's pretend abortion isn't an option.

Say I have unprotected sex - d'oh. The girl wasn't on the pill/I didn't use a condom. She gets pregnant. That is our fault, and dumping/aborting a child is a heinous and reprehensible act. We DEAL with it - take care of the baby, or, if we're financially unable to, give the baby up. But you don't kill it once it's been conceived - it's not the baby's fault the parents f4ed up in the first place (pun unintended...OR WAS IT?!? :P )
