but I still think 16 may be a bit young. Doesn't "age of consent" mean that men or women of any age can still have sex with 16 year olds? Even folks in their 40s, 50s etc? Maybe I'm a prude, but I would prefer that kids reach voting age before they can have sex with much older folks. If they aren't considered "responsible" enough to vote, what on earth makes them responsible enough to enter a relationship with someone far older than them?
