"getting it running and stable" seems to be the big issue for me. And I haven't really had a problem with Windows breaking "out of the blue" (or should that be "into the blue screen") at all. Until recently, anyways; but considering most of my computer components are probably at the extreme end of their expected life span, I'm not that surprised.
