that's for sure. You're correct he did get control of it in First Contact, using it to his advantage by turning it on at happy time and turning it of at bad time. But you got agree that if you waited your whole life to get this and you had great self control over it, than you wouldn't decide to permanently turn it off and pretend it doesn't exist any more. I'll have to watch Insurrection again. But from what I recall he had quite a youthful connection between him self and that little kid on the planet. I say youthful referring data as an android who seemed to be experiencing emotions involved playing like/with a kid for the first time.
