use a 250lb rated aluminum ladder at ten-foot heights

Fiberglass ladders are stronger than aluminum ones.

Don't trust wooden ones.

My best guide-if it looks or feels flimsy, don't go there.

I'm the guy in the scene shop that "stress-tests" scenery and platforms :-)
