Rejuvenation involves increasing filament temperature, increasing G2 (screen grid) voltage, decreasing cathode voltage, etc. All those things are not relevant for me. There just is an intermittent short, only when it's cold, between the blue gun and the heater filament. It's so slight, that heavy shaking might even get it loose. I tried something of the sort, but I will have to try harder I guess.

And, this monitor has a built-in rejuvanator. It has automatic color correction, which measures beam currents and such and recalibrates the image to factory values, to compensate for wear. Very nifty feature.

And glad to see I've also got some peers when it comes to liking CRTs more :)
