It's not an issue of confidentiality. These people usually already have some sort of contact or agreement, hence their permission to access a given system in the first place.
For instance, a third-party developer trying to access our VPN, an complaining that he cannot. Meanwhile, someone else in his office, using the same internet connection can work fine, and everyone else I know of can work fine, and I see various people currently logged in.
All indications are that the problem is isolated to the individual's workstation, and therefore, it's not my gig. |
