There are no good options. I have said _explain_ it, NOT give them a choice -- in fact, I've explicitly stated that. In a subject, no less. You will make a decision because you have to. As a matter of kindness and decency, you do not present it as a choice, but as an act of mercy, you tell them you will do the best you can, which is empty words.
The whole point is that it isn't a matter of choice either way -- I've been beating this dead horse long enough to get bored.
To sum up, I'm saying "This question is posed to screw with your mind. It imputes a choice that you don't have, which is to make an ethical decision about things over which you have no control. You cannot evade the RNG because the question as defined requires the RNG. Either stop letting it mess with your head, or let it." |
