He had no idea even what it meant. Paw-Paw came across the table and nearly knocked him out. We don't like racists around here. My grandfather was taken to Philly by his father where he watched Irish beatup the Italians. In a different neighborhood Italians beat up blacks. In a different neighborhood blacks beating up the Irish. In the late 80's I built a bomb as my science project because of the KKK and neo-Nazis. The lesson stuck for four generations so far. It'll stick for many more. Racist terms are not allowed around me. That was drilled into me from birth. And I don't care who says them. I won't deal with Jews calling eachother k4 or black people calling eachother n6. Sorry for the rant, it's one of my hot-buttons.
