25mpix is only a valid number for film if you're using the loosest definition of resolution. ie, barely resolvable. That doesn't mean the picture will look as good as an equivalent 25mpix digital though. I saw an ultra high quality velvia 50 print a few years ago. It completely sucked compared to the prints of high end digital cameras from that time (think 6Mpix). Only in large format will you see film overtake digital.
