Killing Vista - Ressurecting Linux by zet60002008-04-28 06:48:40
K-Mint, from freedom came elegance by Zoxer 2008-04-28 08:19:58
based on Ubuntu, but you can really be your own admin. What you can't be on Ubuntu. Or only if you have a master in informatics to use that command line s3 that I know from DOS twenty years back.
And it has all the codecs and the libs you need to see your movie DVDs you paid for, and hear your CDs you paid for, without using tricks.

Wait some weeks and Mint Elyssa KDE, based on Ubuntu Hardy Heron, will roll out.
After playing around with several Linux distros, I became a strong winXP supporter, because I don't like the stupid DIY work what you have to do on all other distros, but since five weeks I work with K-Mint, as it came out of the box, never looked back on XP and will never never look at other distros.
