Another photography question . . . by hadji 2008-04-28 08:03:27
I'm just looking for some general answers, not an in-depth analysis. :-)

In regards to consumer grade 35mm cameras that your average Joe would buy and use, what megapixel would yield equivalent quality?

If you take the average consumer grade digital camera compared to the average consumer grade 35mm camera, how do they compare in light sensitivity?

I'm going to guess that in regards to the consumer market, today's digital cameras have equaled or surpassed 35mm. Would that be correct?

Finally, in regards to professional photography, if you compare dollar for dollar, how do today's digital cameras compare to film cameras in regards to resolution and light sensitivity?
