contact the professor. The catalog I have for the school has isn't very detailed. As far as personal skill level. I consider myself slightly beyond beginner. On my ex's DSLR, I knew what all the settings "do" but not always how the best to use them. I am planing on getting a D80 with my bush bribe (plus some savings).
