We just got a call from the owners of one of the other small satellites launched on the same rocket. Apparently their orbit is some 10 minutes ahead of what we were informed, and there is virtually no way they could have drifted that far ahead of us. So ... It would appear that we've been listening in more or less the exact opposite direction of our satellite (which would still give us the slight signal we did get).
