In a few weeks, I intend to go to a dance. By myself.
The other people at the dance will be LGBT people my age. I probably won't know them. Some of them will know each-other. This is kind of like a high-school dance, except it's college students, many of whom probably never went to a dance in highschool (myself included).
I am determined that I am going to go, and I am NOT going to spend the entire dance hiding in the corner pretending to be invisible.
So... people who have social skills... when you go to a dance where you don't know anybody, how do you NOT spend the entire dance hiding in the corner pretending to be invisible? |
