spamming accounts, since the usage pattern (high volume of nearly identical messages) is so distinct. And given that each message would trigger a spam filter, it's easy to tell them apart from the standard corporate mailing lists.

Basically, no spam messages should be relayed by the google (or any) SMTP servers in any direction.
