| since it's not a research paper; it's on sociological theory, and I'm comparing one particular sociologist's idea that community life is giving way entirely to industrial society (which, in his opinion, is a Very Bad thing) with the popularization of the Internet (especially when it comes to social networking). Instead of technology driving people away into soulless existence, it's having an effect of creating more of the good type of community.
I'm not sure I understand it myself, but my professor saw my intro and some of the draft and thinks I'm brilliant! :) |
