Need: 1 Cleaning Rod (1 piece preferred) with patch jag 1 roll of masking tape measuring implement Put a single wrap of tape on rod near handle, place patch on jag and insert into bore until it comes into contact with rifling. Make a mark top dead center (TDC) on masking tape, place another wrap as close to receiver as possible, push rod into bore until the TDC mark is TDC again, place another wrap of tape on rod, push patch through and carefully remove rod. Measured distance = twist.
