Fortunately this should not be an issue much longer, I should be moving jobs to something that actually interests me in the near future... Deadlines did it in University, it was basically a case of I can't be a4ed until the deadline was looming then, in a flurry of activity it would get done (mind that still goes back to money, given that I was paying for the class and failure would mean paying for it again).
