How to feed a man mellow. Happy. Contented. by DrDeisel 2008-03-29 20:09:13
Just made a dinner from a recipe I put together myself (probably similar to a lot of recipes out there, but I wanted to see what I could come up with on my own). Prawns (sauteed with garlic and red chilis) in a sauce of white wine, tomato, garlic and veggies (onion, celery, green peppers and more red chilis). A bit of lemon juice. Simmered with bay leaves. A bit of fresh parley added at the end.

I served it over rice and with the wine I used in the recipe (a Gewürtztraminer). After the third bite, my husband said I have to make sure I don't lose the recipe. When I told him I didn't have a recipe, he made me write down what I did right after dinner so I wouldn't forget. Dessert was our usual Victoria's Secret coffee.

A most excellent dinner!
