Earth Hour 2008. Are you powering down? by oedlan2008-03-29 10:04:10
Our lights stay off until we need them. by rook_mtl 2008-03-29 12:51:45
That means we never have any lights on during the day when we are at work.

We only turn on light in the room we are in at night, and then it is usually a table lamp using a 9W compact fluorescent bulb.

We don't use a television, instead we use a laptop and a TV tuner card.

During the winter we keep our appartment at 17-18C and wear sweaters if we are cold. In the summer we use as little air conditioning as possible, we have a small single room unit that is turned on only in our bedroom when it is too hot to sleep.

Energy conservation is a daily thing that should be taught to people, and I'm not sure Earth Hour is the best way to get the message out.
