They open at 0830 and I got there at 0815 and saw it sitting right out front. I took a look around it and it looks like it's in great shape.
The guy that came with me to drive my car back wanted breakfast so we went through the drive-through on the other end of the block and came back and it wasn't there. It was 0827 at this point. At 0830 I walked in and talked to the lady I'd talked to on the phone. She was all ready to sell it to me but when she went to get the key, found out that someone'd taken it for 'borrowed vehicle program' or something like that. Basically an extended test drive. In the 5 minutes I was gone.
So, as soon as they get back (in a few hours or so), she'll call me to tell me that they've either bought it or not. If not, I'm grabbing my friend again and booking down there before anyone else sees it.
On the way back we took a look at some other Jeeps, but all of them are a: too expensive or b: automatic transmission (one of which had a 4banger, which wouldn't be bad on gas mileage but not as much fun to drive).
They're out there, but I really want this one.
