...and I say this with compassion but hard resolve: You need to learn how to talk to people. I've been able to talk to people quite fine without resorting to lolcat speak. I suggest you resort to speaking English instead. No matter what language you speak, you can end up misunderstood. Take the one the person already knows. Non-geeks don't understand geeks. We are different, and therefore feared. We don't fit into their universe even though we make it work. They still don't understand that.
