Someone emailed me asking me what my phone by hadji 2008-03-20 08:46:11
extension was. Now . . . there are a few things to keep in mind about this.

1. We have our information published to Active Directory, including extensions. This means that the information is also available in Exchange, and thereby available in the Outlook Address Book.

2. The information is also regularly propagated from AD to a Public Folder and to our intranet site.

3. The information is also available through a directory list that is accessible through the menu on the phones themselves.

4. The person who emailed me to ask me my extension is not only an employee who has ready access to all this information, but is on our helpdesk.
