Trying to explain something logically around here is the futile waste of time I have ever experienced. I actually had someone tell me they didn't care about why a design wouldn't work, I just had to deal with the equipment being purchased and "make it work".
That's right, I had to make something that can't possibly ever work, work. Amazing part is that the equipment still isn't here, and the project is already past due date. I'm going to enjoy that project review meeting.
Manager: Why isn't this done?
Me: Do you want me to say that the equipment never got delivered because it wasn't ordered on time, or that, even if it does arrive, it won't work because the wrong equipment was purchased?
