Now that stuff is over, I'll expand. by Bertram 2008-03-19 07:16:34
The whole thing was only 2 pages big, about a week before the REAL deadline. At first, we we're thinking we'd just ignore the first deadline and go for the second deadline, cca 2 months later.
Our consusltant, our informatics teacher, was informed way too late about this and informed US too late that if we don't finish the first one, we both get a "1 free instant vasectomy" coupon, both to be instantly used.

We had about 15 pages 4 days before deadline or so. There was a HUGE rush-fest, resulting in sitting up to 2300 in a copyshop, the night before presentations. In the end, the whole thing was printed in 0700 the day we we're supposed to present things. We had a HELL of typos. No-one checked tho, so we didn't care.

The presentation was one of the latter ones, starting at 1205. We had rather large lamp-fever before presenting, partially because we weren't really sure of what we had written ourselves. Our motto was "We always did it somehow. 'Specially because of me. We'll do it this time too. _I_ will do it this time too."

We made a little .txt as a guideline. From 30 points, 25 we're mine, in the end I presented 2/3 of the whole thing. (I got even though. My work partner owes me 1.5-times-infinite amounts of Kofola. (Imagine cola, just way better:P) All of which is transferrable. (I'm sure I'll give parts of it to people as gifts someday.))
The presentation was very interactive and based on fun. I got some good response from the audience throughout the presentation. We had great laughter because we started out with "stereotypes", and had a few pics to that. We graded them from most disturbing to the lowest. (No clickies, too lazy. Sorry.)

(That was used in "nerdcore rap", it's MC Frontalot, for those of you that don't know him.)

We changed the pic every once in a while, when my iron grip on the viewers weakend.

The end was great. We had orders to have 5 minutes of discussion after presenting our work. We pepped the whole thing up by making an all-audience vote on this:

There we're many votes for serial killer every vote. I think I even awakend a few geeks, because right now we're in the empty conference room, plaing crysis and other games with school-owned projectors. It rocks pants.

I'm hungry though. I'd love to eat something now.
