You receive word that you are about to undergo a lengthy and painful separation from the one job you ever simultaneously hated and loved at the same time. This separation may affect you the rest of your life.

You press on. You then prepare for your SO's valentines day, she lives 400 miles away, you have plenty of time to get her her favorite chocolates and roses. you set them up in your hotel room arranged in a heart. You receive word that she isn't coming.Period. Ever. She's nigh broken up with you.

What do you do?
Me. I sit here in my vacant hotel room clinging to sanity in a world of emotional pain. Please let it be ok. I'm in a place where I'm disconnected from family and friends. I'm utterly alone.
