This is tomorrow - I just ordered one. I am sold on the Palm platform too and the possibility that it may be discontinued doesn't bother me as far as getting the TX. I can see myself buying another one second hand in eBay in a couple of years. (I have 4 IIIx's, last one I got on eBay for $1 plus shipping :-) Having several allows me to take them apart with impunity.

The salesman told me that they have only 12 more in stock at Future Shop in BC because people are just buying cell phones and using them, but a cell doesn't really fill the bill for me.
