I'm complaining that apps like Konquerer don't by Fandango 2008-02-13 16:56:44
allow you the choice. Where all the other apps I listed do. Konquerer and both of these distros have network configuration tools that demand an "http proxy" as an only choice, instead of a "proxy for http". Absolutely useless when I can't reach an http address without first routing through our proxy. So how about you don't respond as if I'm your 4 year old, and give up on that crap about legal. I guarantee their is no law book stating that a proxy starts with "http://". Why is it whenever somebody asks a simple question regarding Linux the zealots jump out with their "better than thou" crap? I'm logging off now before I lose my temper.
