Anyone have/use a Palm TX? by run.dll 2008-02-13 16:04:18
I am pondering getting a new PDA. I liked my old Palm IIIx (still use it for a few games) but my fancy new hi-res colour HP iPAC was a PITA, given its short battery life and having to cradle it every day. The IIIx runs on a couple of AAAs, which I find very handy, but the memory is volatile. The Palm TX, OTOH, has 128 MB of non-volatile flash memory, which I like, but has a built-in rechargeable battery, about which I have reservations.

As I still use my old IIIx, you can see that I prefer to have a piece of hardware for a long time, which maximizes the learning curve effort. I don't need bells and whistles.

What are your comments re the TX?
