| that kind of illness. I get this nasty version of the common cold, lasts at least 5 days. First I get a sore throat, then horribly runny nose, then some coughing and congestion towards the end. The biggest problem is I need an antihistamine to deal with the nose running, and no daytime meds have antihistamines in them! (Something to do with most people getting drowsy over them?) Myself, I take Nyquil repeatedly during these colds, slowly building up a tolerance for it until doses get to the point of lasting for 2 hours instead of 4. Either way, the stuff never puts me out, just gives me a very slight vision and auditory haziness - I'm still perfectly safe to drive. |
