notify specific people that are on that committee. They did so. The members of those committees did NOTHING to stop it.

The president followed the rules and did what he was supposed to do. It is not HIS fault that the people with the responsibility to say "wait, this is bad" did not do so.

That being said I wish he had not brought it up in the first place but if he followed the rules as laid out and the people in place for oversight did not do their job then...shame on them...

*CURRENTLY* the presidential order is NOT illegal. There is a pending court hearing on it and that will decide if it is constitutional or not. That being said, I hope they strike it down or modify it for more oversight.
