| I've decided to use my tax rebate to purchase a new pistol. I have a Kimber 1911 that I really enjoy and a Taurus Millennium Pro PT-745 that I use for ccw. I like the idea of the 10mm round, and my roommate suggested, well, strongly advocated may be a better word, the EAA Witness. But I may also be looking for a .40s&w pistol. Any recommendations in those ranges? Also, I really want to fire a pistol before I buy it. I've gotten lucky (well, did tons of research before buying each previous gun) on my last two, but I want to test this next one first. What's the best way to do that? I know of one range in the area that allows for rentals ($8/hr) of some guns, but their selection isn't the best. |
